It is located 32 KM towards South from District head quarters Oros. 5 KM from Vengurla and 422 KM from State capital Mumbai. Math ( 4 KM ) , Parabwada ( 4 KM ) , Ansur ( 5 KM ) , Matond ( 5 KM ) , Vengurla ( 5 KM ) are the nearby Villages to Tulas. Tulas is surrounded by Sawantwadi Taluka towards East , Kudal Taluka towards North , Pernem Taluka towards South , Oras Taluka towards North .

No information was obtained regarding this family from Trimbakeshwar Documents. The family members still living in Tulas village have given the family tree. We obtained it through late. Shri Chandrashekar Gore. Interesting fact told to us by another Gore (Gargya Gotra from Chendvan who had met family members in Tulas village) that the members of Tulas family are supposed to be distantly related to Dahibav Gore family. The information we obtained is vague as it is not first hand information, but apparently when land grant was made to Gore family in Dahivav village at same time other members of the family were given land grant in Tulas village and they have been in this village since then. Would love to obtain more information about this.
